I have never visited this location, but the one in Running Springs. When I had the chance to stop by when passing through , I said YES PLEASE! This is my friends "go to" location for pastries and groceries when in the area. Soo glad I did. Escaping from the heat of Palm Desert, stepping inside into cold ac was a blessing. I was hangry, and my inner joe pesci was starting to come out. First stop, deli area. I didn't like the options, due to food sensitivities, decided to head over and get a sandwich made. The lady behind the counter must have been new, because when I asked for a BLT, she said she never made one before. Ok, no judgment. So I decided to have her put a bunch of stuff together in a croissant sandwich individualized to my needs and prayed it came out along with a side of egg salad. Next stop, was the bakery. I chose a lemon cheesecake $5.99. Almost $25 later, my inner joe pesci was at bay and luckily to my friend and driver in the car peace was maintained and we began to the next stop. Would I come here and order a sandwich as my first choice? No. But if I was hangry, yes. It is pricey, but on par with location. The bakery items were very yummy. So, I would definitely come back . No photos taken because it lasted 2.5 seconds before I had a melt down. HEHEHE

Lidia in the floral department did an excellent job with the floral arrangement I ordered. I asked her to make a bouquet in specific colors similar to something I'd seen. It was for my friend's celebration of life event. When I went to pick up the bouquet, I was beyond thrilled. I had doubts that anyone would do a good job, but Lidia really pulled through. I highly recommend Lidia! I've tried their food before and some is good, but this is about the Floral Department . The ambience is ok, nothing special.

In between a very hectic schedule and a need to grab a very quick lunch, we stumbled upon this supermarket in amongst a number of very unappealing fast food joints. It was a good choice. It is definitely a high-end market with a top-tier product line, similar to Nugget in my home territory. I decided to grab a sandwich at the deli counter and a side dish, plus a drink. The sandwich board has choices with kitschy celebrity names, and I chose the Bob Hope Classic. It's essentially a ham sandwich on a roll, but very top-quality ingredients. With it, I got a macaroni side, plus a small order of the Thai Pasta Salad from the counter choices. To top it off an iced tea, Morrocan Mint, from the cooler. Service was SLOW, at best. It appeared they were also training some new people, and the woman preparing my sandwich was painfully slow to watch. They didn't have the roll, a 6 they gave it to me on plain bread. The store is nicely laid out, clean, and the checkout folks cheerful and upbeat. The sandwich was good, and I had to woof it down at the tables provided in front of the store. The macaroni salad is what you'd expect, with a pickle to the side. The Thai Pasta Salad was OK, nothing special, with lots of creamy peanut taste and a bit of spicy kick. It worked for a quick bite and run.
